Q: Is it painful?
A: With all permanent make-up, there can be a level of discomfort - depending on your own pain tolerance but it is not bad at all! Topical anaesthetics are used to minimise pain. Take comfort in the fact that many of my clients fall asleep whilst having the procedures done! Check out our reviews!
Q: How long do they last? When should I have them 'topped-up'?
A: As with all permanent make-up, it varies - the pigment stays in the skin indefinitely but its visibility depends on a number of things: sun exposure, medications; skin treatments and conditions etc. Generally speaking - 2-5 years. It is asdvisable to come back for your top-up within 18 months to maintain detail and colour. Check out our reviews!
Q: I'm going on holiday soon! Should I wait until I come back to have the procedure done?
A: How soon is soon? If you are travelling internationally within 2 weeks of having the procedure done you will be OK but must make preparations for protection of the area - from the sun especially. If you are travelling internationally sooner than this then it is inadvisable. Reasons vary but predominantly risk of infection and sun exposure are the things to consider here. If you wait until you return from somewhere hot and you have tanned skin - you will need 3 weeks for the skin to settle before going ahead.
Q: Is there anything to pay at the 2nd visit (retouch)?
A: No.
Q: Will the hairs look natural?
A: I love to create the most realistic looking hairs possible! It can be difficult to tell the difference between the real and the reconstructed!
Q: Will my eyebrow hair still grow?
A: Yes! The needles do not go as deep into the area of skin where the hair follicles sit. There is no disruption of hair growth.
