Microblading is a manual method, using a 'blade' formation of needles. It sounds scary, but it's really not! Tiny cuts are made in the skin and pigment is pushed into these areas, when the skin heals it leaves a tiny hairlike mark. It is the most natural of all the permanent makeup techniques and the most advanced. The procedure is a form of cosmetic tattooing, so-called because it doesn't go as deep as a conventional tattoo- the upper dermal layer of the skin only.  The technique creates a very pretty, groomed brow look with no hair out of place! Nanoblading is just like microblading but the size and gauge of the ‘blade’ is much finer. This procedure can create the most crisp and natural ‘hairs’ and is the latest trend in beautiful brows. 

Nanoblading is an extremely advanced procedure and the outcomes are dependent upon the artist. A perfectionist is what you are looking for! Incredible concentration is needed to ensure that every hairstroke is placed impeccably in the skin and at the correct depth. You have come to the right artist! Ombré brow technique is the best alternative to microblading and is done with a machine and tattoo needle cartridge. Unlike traditional permanent makeup techniques, this method goes very lightly into the upper dermal layer of the skin. The shading of colour is built up slowly with pixels ‘layering‘  colour on the underside of the brow which fades up towards the top. The look is similar to that of a professional make-up brow.  This procedure is suitable for all skin types and ages.  When first done the brow can look very ‘solid’ but it fades beautifully to a soft powdery effect. If you have been, or are still using lash growth serum - you MUST book in for a consultation with me PRIOR to having your eyeliner done!  Why?…
Lash growth serum increases the blood flow to the eyelid and lash area. I will need to check the vascularisation of your eyelids PRIOR to your procedure.  If they are too vascular, you will bleed and not retain much colour (disappointing results!) You will likely be over sensitive in the area and the procedure will NOT be comfortable for either of us! A MINIMUM of 4 weeks (can be up to 3 months) WITHOUT USING THE SERUM is needed and a consultation will still be required, so that I can fully asses the viability and ensure you get the best results possible.

Baby Eyeliner or Lash Enhancement as it is sometimes known is for those of us that want a minimalist ‘mascara‘ look.  Perfect for all skin types and ages. You would have the same colour as the mascara you use, although black really helps to freshen the eye. If you are a more mature client you may want to go for a charcoal rather than a jet black to remain softer visually. If you want something stronger at a later date then a smokey edge of thicker shade can be added easily.  Please note: ALL work is referred to as permanent makeup NOT semi permanent tattoo and eyeliner procedures are not microblading!N.B. IMPORTANT!  IF YOU HAVE BEEN OR ARE STILL USING A LASH GROWTH SERUM - YOU MUST BOOK IN FOR A CONSULTATION FIRST, SO THAT I CAN INSPECT THE VASCULARISATION OF YOUR EYELIDS. Lash growth serum increases the blood supply to the lashes and is not permitted by me prior to any of my eyeliner procedures. You will bleed and not retain colour well at all. You will have increased sensitivity in the area and the procedure will not be comfortable for either of us!  A minimum of 4 weeks of refraining from using the serum is needed but a consultation is paramount, so that I can assess the viability of the procedure and ensure you get the best results possible.
